Work Permits [BETA]
A new Location Type called Work Permits has been added to the Location Types Lists. The Work Permits feature in BoxLock Control is intended to be a very basic Permitting workflow that is typically integrated with third party permitting tools. It is not intended as a full-scale replacement.
The current Work Permits [BETA] can be enabled under LOTO Settings. This should only be used for testing until the [BETA] designation is removed.
When Enabled, a LOTO Location requires an Approved or Active Work Permit prior to changing the status of a Location from a Hazardous State to a Safe State or from a Safe State to a Hazardous State.
In the event that a LOTO Location is in a Safe State and does not have an ACtive permit, workers will be able to Lock On or Off of the Location for the purposes of transferring responsibility. The First Worker cannot add themselves and the Last Worker cannot remove themselves without an Approved or Active Work Permit.

BoxLock Studio
- LOTO Station Desktop View now includes a Life Activity Feed. As events occur in the Organization, each activity appears either as a toast in the lower left hand corner of the display or in a full Activity View on the right panel.
- BETA: AI Activity Descriptions - Real-Time Activities now include the option for AI based status updates. Data is processed using ChatGPT 5.4-mini.
