BoxLock Control allows you to share Location barcodes, Location Group and Organization level barcodes.
Those barcodes can be shared via e-mail or SMS and can have different settings including one-time use, multiple use, date ranges and unlimited use.
Location Level
This is done when adding a lock on the "Locations" tab in your account. From there, you can click a specific Location and then the "Add Lock" button. Adding a lock here means that the lock will inherit all the barcodes of that Location. If you're working with a situation where you have two store fronts and need an employee to have access to one but not the other, this is the option for you. You can also set things up so that someone can have access to EACH location, and we'll touch on that a bit later.
Location Group Level
Location Groups allow you to make a barcode that works for several locations, but not the entire organization. This could be used in a myriad of cases, from multiple job sites within a region to smaller use cases where someone needs access to multiple locations, but not all of them.
Organization Level
Adding a lock on the organization level is something that proceeds the Location Group and the Location. When creating a barcode for a lock, you'll see this option under Barcode Details.
Making a barcode at the Organization level means that any lock that exists on that Organization will be able to use that barcode to unlock. This is great if you're working with a simpler user case that doesn't require a lot of customization.
