Welcome to our biggest BoxLock Control release of the year.
This updates includes significant improvements to nearly every screen on the platform packed with additional features and enhancements to help improve workflows.
Location List Views
Location List Views leverage an all new table with enhanced sorting and filtering capabilities. It also consolidates Location Groups and Locations into one combined List making it easier to Organize your devices consistent with your organizational needs.
We’ve also added key stats to the Location List view such as Lock Count and Alarm Mode Status.
Lock List Views
New details such as Alarm Mode Status, Lock Open/Closed Status and Signal Strength have been added to the Lock List View. We’ve also compressed the Lock License into a single icon making more room for more regularly access Lock details on the Lock List View.
Location View
The information displayed on a Location has been streamlined. We moved all of the Settings and key Action buttons to the upper right-hand corner (where they always should’ve been). We also consolidated Location Settings and the ability to Add Locks, Barcodes and Trackables under one combined menu.
Barcode List View
To increase security and reduce the risks of tailgating, BoxLock Control now hides barcode values in List Views. Tapping the 👁️ icon to the right of the value will make it visible. It still remains visible on Detail Views.
Other Updates
- Moved the map on the Lock screen to a new Geolocation tab. We will be revisiting mapping and adding maps to Locations shortly.
- Fixed a bug where Lock License counts could show a negative number when a License had expired.
- Moved additional less-used details to the “Details” tab on Locks and Locations
- Updated the default tab on Locations to be Locks
- Location Groups can now be created without requiring that a Location is added, making it easier to build out your organization hierarchy before adding in Locations.
- Updated the Signal Strength on Locks to be a wifi or cellular icon with bars instead of a percentage similar to how cell phones display signal strength. The detailed percentage is still available under the “Details” tab.
- Hid the IDs from the List Views. IDs can still be found under the “Details” tab for the Object.
- Lock Configuration is now a modal on a Location instead of a separate tab.
- Disabled Lightning Codes off for Locations that are of the type LOTO Location
- Added a Status to Locations for onboarding Delivery Point Location types
- Added a Hilti UAD Delivery Point Location Type
- Delivery Point Location Types can now support UPS Quantumview Inbound Feeds
- Updated UPS Quantum View to support UPS’s latest APIs
- Locks without active Licenses can no longer be opened using Push to Open
