Late May 2025 Release Notes

This latest release includes enhanced Alarm Mode capabilities for notifications and custom intrusion sensitivity.

Alarm Mode

• BoxLock Alarm Mode now fully supports scheduling and notifications, dynamically changing the configuration of the device in real-time when an alarm is armed and disarmed based off the Organization Schedule. Setting the Alarm Mode Schedule can be found under Settings → Org Settings → Alarm Configuration (All times are currently in EST)
• Alarm Schedules now include a separate G Force setting for when 1 G of Force is too sensitive. Examples are gates with privacy screens may require a higher G Force setting due to wind.
• Alarm Notifications must be turned on under Settings → Org Settings → Notification Center → Alarm Mode Intrusion
• Individual Users must subscribe to the Notifications under Settings → User Settings → Notifications
• Location Contacts now receive Alarm Notifications, Location Contacts can be set by Editing a Location
• LOTO Locations do not support Alarm Mode

Red Rope

• Employee barcodes with the Action Type Toggle Check-In and their Phone Number set, now receive Notifications after Check-In and Check-Out letting them know their current Status.
• LOTO Locations do not support Red Rope check-in and check-out.

Notification Center Updates

Notification Center now includes the following additional messages. Org Administrators must configure these under Settings → Org Settings → Notification Center and users must subscribe to receive these under Settings → User Settings → Notifications

• Alarm Mode Intrusion - Receive a one-time notification if an intrusion event happens while the lock is in alarm mode.
• Lock Offline Daily Digest - Receive a digest of locks that haven't connected in 2 connection cycles.

New Features

The following new features have been added:

• Enhanced Lock Offline Monitoring: Implemented comprehensive summary notifications for offline locks
• Improved Alarm Mode Notifications: Added new notification system for alarm status changes
• Adjustable G Force Settings: Added capability to customize G Force settings for Alarm Mode

Bug Fixes and Improvements

This release includes several important fixes and enhancements:

• Fixed an issue where barcodes couldn't be created if a barcode with the same phone number exists in a different organization
• Resolved a problem where only the 3 most recently edited qualifying barcodes appear when adding Organization Lightning codes
• Resolved an issue preventing the removal of Alarm Schedules
