BoxLock Control - Release Notes - July 2024

🚀
This update’s all about productivity and efficiency as we’re cleaning up some things in Control, working on improvement enhancements and helping you get as much work done as quickly as possible.

👀 Introducing Peek View

image

To improve the user experience, we’re introducing Peek View. When you click on an item in a list view, instead of being directed to a new page, you’ll now get a quick peek into the key information.

This allows you to quickly look at additional details without navigating away from the List.

Full Screen Activity View

Real-Time Lock Activities now has a full screen mode for use in Network Operations Centers, minimizing the screen real-estate required for navigation.

Devices

We’ve updated Locks to now be Devices, making way for broader support for third party devices and gateways.

Digital Matter are the first supported Devices. This initial release integrates Digital Matter devices into BoxLock Control, mirroring the Device Configurations allowing you to manage a fleet of assets in one pain of glass. In the next release, we’ll expand to Bluetooth IoT sensor tracking across BoxLock’s partner network.

Improvements

  • Added the ability to show passwords on password screens.
  • Intrusion Force on Lock Configurations now says Off when set to 0 to clarify that it deactivates the feature.

  • Activities tab is now the default tab on Locations, Locks and Trackables.
  • Intrusion Alerts are now off on the Holding Location, preventing unintended intrusion alerts during shipping.
  • Source of the lat and lng is now more accurate in whether it came from cell triangulation or GPS
  • “Old List View” has been deprecated and removed from the Locations List View

Bug Fixes
