We always recommend making sure the firmware on your locks is up to date to guarantee the best experience.
To start, log into BoxLock Control at control.bxlck.com. From here, navigate to the Lock you'd like to update by clicking on the Lock Icon at the left hand side of the screen and choosing the desired lock. (check the last 4 digits of the MAC address on back of lock)
Once in the lock details, scroll to find the firmware field. On the right hand side of the page, clock ‘Update’. Doing so will present a choice to update to Production or Beta firmware. Always choose Production.
Scan QR code on screen with your lock or share the QR code via text or email. Click ‘Done’ once complete.

Once you scan the QR code the update can take a few minutes depending on your network connection. The lock's LED will be flashing purple, but once the update is complete, it will turn off, and you can confirm the update has gone successfully by checking the Lock Detail page and making sure your firmware version has updated to the correct value.
