Overview

Hilti ON!Track is a platform that helps construction professionals manage their assets and increase productivity. It provides a variety of features such as real-time location tracking of tools, equipment, and materials, and asset utilization reports to help optimize resource allocation. Additionally, Hilti ON!Track provides a way to track maintenance schedules and monitor the condition of assets to help ensure they are always in good working order. Overall, Hilti ON!Track is a powerful tool for construction companies looking to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Setup

Enabling the Integration

  1. Identify the Client ID, Client Secret, Username and Password in Hilti ON!Track by navigating to Company Settings → ON!Track Unite [API]

  3. Visit the API Section of BoxLock Control
  4. Enable the Hilti ON!Track Integration

  6. Input the Client ID, Client Secret, Username and Password from Hilti ON!Track into BoxLock Control under Account → API (Integrations)

Associating Locations

In order for Locations in BoxLock Control to be associated with Locations in Hilti ON!Track the Location ID in Hilti ON!Track must be unique and match the External ID on a Location in BoxLock Control.

To Add or Edit a Location ID in Hilti ON!Track:

Locations → Edit Location → Location ID

To Add or Edit an External ID in BoxLock Control:

Locations → Edit Location → External ID

Use Cases

This section describes various use cases for Hilti ON!Track, including auto-transfer of assets, manually transferring assets, consuming quantity items, and replenishing quantity items.

Auto-Transfer Assets

When each Lock is opened as well as every 4 hours (standard) the Lock scans for nearby Bluetooth tags. It then communicates to the cloud which tags were read at that Location and automatically transfers them to the Location associated with the Lock that read the tag in ON!Track

Transfer Asset

Manually transferring an Asset moves the Asset from the currently assigned Location to the Location associated with the Lock that scans the Asset.

To manually transfer Items:

  1. Open the Lock
  2. Press the button on the Lock while the Lock is open and scan the ON!Track Tags for the item being transferred
  3. image
  4. Repeat step 2 for any additional Assets
  5. Close the Lock

The Assets will be transferred to the Location of the Lock once the Lock is closed.

Consuming And Replenishing Quantity Items

  1. Scan an employee badge to open the Lock
  2. While the lock is open, press the button on the lock and scan either the Replenish or Consume QR Codes to tell the lock which mode it should be in
  3. Consume
    Consume
    Replenish
    Replenish
  1. scan item SKU that’s being replenished. DO scan the SKU DO NOT scan the Adaptive Torque System QR Code

  3. Repeat step 3 for any additional Quantity Items
  4. Close the Lock

The inventory allocation of Quantity Items will be adjusted at that Location once the Lock is closed.
