Adding Locations and Location Groups (1)

Adding new locations to your organization to manage the access to different locks.

The address and location contact fields are optional. These can be edited or filled in at a later point.

Unless needed for your use case, leave location type and external ID blank.

Adding locks to a new location is done under the edit lock feature. More about that here: Assigning Lock to Location or Location Group

Location Groups

Location Groups give you the ability to control access to multiple specific locations via a single barcode, making it easier to manage multiple locations without isolating one from the other.

💡

Remember! You'll need to fill out a name for your Location Group to get the button at the bottom to be clickable.

Once you've filled in the information about your Location Group, you can begin to add Locations to it using the "Add Locations" button towards the bottom of the page.

You can select the locations within your organization to add to the Location Group using the checkbox on the left hand side of the popup. Once done, you can use the "Add Locations" button at the top to complete the process of creating your first Location Group!
