Delivery Point is a specialized Location Type in BoxLock Control that enables specific features and functionalities for package delivery management.
Key Features
- Supports UPS Quantum View Inbound Feeds for tracking deliveries
- Includes specific delivery metrics and statistics at the top of the location view
- Requires street address and zip code information
Location Status
Delivery Point locations have a defined status workflows:
- Requested - Initial state when order is received
- Onboarding - Information has been received from client
- Configuring - Information has been sent to UPS
- Active - Location is fully operational
Special Configurations
There are specific variations of Delivery Point types, such as the Hilti UAD Delivery Point Location Type, which includes additional specialized features for Hilti's delivery operations.
